Hi
Just wondering if there are community type colleges or evening colleges where one can register to learn bahasa Melayu and also get to meet other folks who share similar interest.
Much more fun learning in a group than one to one. IMHO and experience.

Ha! Looks like forum members speak fluent bahasa or could it be that there is no such course available. What a pity!

Perhaps you could try asking on this forum: http://www.alloexpat.com/malaysia_ex...forum-f28.html
Expat groups in KL have Bahasa classes so perhaps you might be able to find similar in Penang? Good luck.

Willing to go and study anywhere, where there is good companionship, fun in the classroom, a bit of after class visit to the pub or kopitiam (aircondition of course) and a plate of char kway teow! To further revisit the lessons and improve on the pronunciation of course.
