Okey dokey, I'll take a look in Tg Bg wet market. I wonder if they have a name.

I don't like Mt Erskine wet market as it's murder to park there.

Wah never seen the thinly sliced water chestnut.

Ive seen..and love, thinly sliced arrowroot tuber. Also home made thinly sliced tapioca soaked in lime (I mean the rock not the fruit) and then fried. Bad for you but scrumptious :cool:

Arrowroot? Doesn't that have the same effect as a Vindaloo or am I getting mixed up with something else?

Nooooo bakedbean. Its flour is sometimes used for thickening similar to corn flour. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrowroot:sneaky:
