Cheapest prepaid mobile provider in Kuala Lumpur
I am visiting KL for 3 weeks. I'd like to know which prepaid mobile provider I should go with? Which prepaid plan do you have? I am interested in sending SMS (to local mobiles only). No roaming, no international, no nothing, just the cheapest local SMS. Sending/receiving messages are more important for me than voice calls. I have an old Nokia GSM phone, it is triband, and 2G compatible, and that's good enough for me. I have researched the options online, and it seems DIJI, and MAXIS are two competing networks, a price war, which has brought the price of the starter pack down, however (some websites are in Malay only). I've listed the best 3 options below. Please help me choose the right provider based on the above information. Thanks!
Diji network (1. Diji Best Prepaid, or 2. Happy Prepaid)
Maxis network (3. Hotlink Prepaid),
Celcom network (XOX, Tune Talk, Redtone, etc..) but i think DIJI, or Maxis is better for me.

It looks like you have done all the research. Maxis coverage is better than that of Digi - so up to you!
