British architects in KL?

Hi all,

Are there any british architects in KL in this forum? Would like to know if it is difficult or easy to find an architect job there as a foreigner? And how is the current construction industry?

Thanks

Hello. I cannot answer your question but can say that the property building in Penang is still going along like a locomotive, despite oversupply of apartments.
So there is business out there. Though whether anyone would want a British architect and why, I really don't know.

Hopefully someone with inside info re architects will respond :fingerscrossed:

This is a place to start - Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia ake a look at the Directory. You can also search for architecture internships in Malaysia. I expect you will need a degree in the UK before being considered, and maybe able to speak Malay
