Autumn cheer

It's a glorious day in Penang today - warm, sunny, sea breezes - and makes you feel good to be alive. Was watching the BBC News on the box last night and it really cheered me to see all these news reporters out on the streets in the UK wrapped up in their scarves, hats and overcoats :D and it's not even end of October yet  So all these poor peoples in ol' Blighty have got maybe 7 months of chilly weather - sad innit?

There are some glorious sights in UK in autumn such as the tree colour.

Having seasons rather than just a bit wetter and a bit dryer is another plus.

But we're on our way back to Singapore next week and except for the possibility of haze can't wait.

Yup, true that the tree colours are very nice but on balance I prefer all-year round warm weather. Just read this morning that UK temperatures will drop below freezing this coming week - this is very early Winter.

Driving around Perak these few days, I have notes a huge amount of leaf fall to go with generally cooler weather, odd showers and cool breezes. Not exactly winter, but hey, with a bit of imagination......OK a lot of imagination, it could be.
