I believe one of our members, NeonHippy, actually played there quite recently. I hope they had a pack of cards with them in the nick - 12 hours passes quickly when you are playing bridge!

I read it on a Dutch news website, where it was reported very soon after the arrests were made. Of course was it emphasized that an 84 yo Dutch lady was involved.

I missed a First at university because I was always playing golf or bridge. Or rugby mid week or Saturday.

My beef was that my bridge partner was my University Prof.

Thanks JC3, I had already been alerted to the event. IVV is correct that I play there but my silence until now is due to vacation not arrest I can assure you. I recognised some of the faces in the photos.
