I was under the impression (from internet websites) that today Tuesday and tomorrow Wednesday are the Public Holiday dates this week. But I spoke to 2 different people yesterday (both locals) who seemed to think that Thursday was a holiday too... at least in Penang. Any thoughts anyone?

Ha ha, yup every day's a holiday but need to go collect something at the Pos Office and trying to work out when they're open.

...and before you say, look at their website, I just have It mentions operating hours during Fasting Month. Then says "1 September onwards....." which gives the impression that they might be open on Thursday? But this doesn't tie in with what the locals are telling me.

I am sure it's a 3 day holiday as my Hubby is home from work until Friday. Although, when I spoke to my maid last Thursday she seemed to think it was only 2 and will be coming tomorrow but then she doesn't speak very good English.........

So, still no definite answer I'm afraid but I am pretty sure it's 3 days from what Hubby tells me!!
