Whether words have two different contradictory meanings or not, is rather moot.

I think we may have been down this road before, but there are indeed a surprising number of "contronyms" or "autoantonyms." Here are a few:
Sanction: can indicate approval or disapproval
Oversight: keeping an eye on something, or not keeping an eye on it
Left: at an old-fashioned dinner party, the ladies withdraw after dinner to the withdrawing-room. After the ladies have left the dining room, the gentlemen are left in the dining room.
Dust: to apply or remove dust. After I dusted the pastry with flour, I had to dust the floor.
Off: activated, or deactivated. The alarm went off, so I turned it off
Help: assist, or prevent. I just can't help helping
Screen: show, or hide. The movie was screened in the theatre, but my view was screened by the person in the seat in front.
Clip: separate, or attach. I clipped a few articles from the newspaper, and clipped them together for filing.
Trim: taking bits off, or adding bits on. If you trim the christmas tree, are you using tinsel or secateurs?
Seed: putting seeds in or taking them out. You seed a lawn, but you can also seed a watermelon.
weather (verb): to succumb to the weather or to withstand it. A ship may weather a storm, but a rock may weather away.
Hold up: to support or to actively not support. Failing to hold up your trousers is likely to hold up your progress.

There are a bunch more. And then there are oddities like "quite" whose meaning changes with modifiers.
It was quite loud would suggest that it was only moderately loud.
It was really quite loud suggests it was almost unbearable.
Combined with "few" this gets confusing:
there were a few people
there were quite a few people
there were really quite a few people

ETA: I knew there'd be a good source of these. Thanks to a quick Google, here's 75 of them! https://www.dailywritingtips.com/75-...tory-meanings/
