While Titian was mixing rose madder,
His model reclined on a ladder.
Her position, to Titian,
Suggested co-ition,
So he climbed up the ladder
And had 'er.

Finding My Man Jeeves as a FREE Kindle download!!! I've been a fan of old PG since I was in my early teens.

They don't write like this anymore:

"Lady Milvern was a hearty, happy, healthy, overpowering sort of dashed female, not so very tall but making up for it by measuring about six feet from the O.P. to the Prompt Side. She fitted into my biggest armchair as if it had been built around her by someone who know they were wearing armchairs tight about the hips that season. She had bright, bulging eyes and a lot of yellow hair, and when she spoke she showed about fifty-seven front teeth..... Altogether by no means the sort of thing a chappie would wish to find in his sitting room before breakfast" - pg. 35

For which you have to be grateful. Too much of a good thing and all that.

This made me smile, but I bet it pissed someone else right off.
As we were going to our local ASDA, we passed a fitness centre, and someone, obviously over the weekend, had cycled there and chained his/her bike up to a cycle reack, when they came out they would have been somewhat disappointed to see that all that was left of the bike was the front wheel, still securely chained to the rack, the rest had gone. I still find it amazing that people don't realise that the easiest part of a cycle to remove is the front wheel, and there has been plenty of advice around for years to tell people that the only sensible way is to chain up the frame.

I used to chain up the frame, but some light fingered bastard, being defeated by the chain, stomped on both wheels, turning them almost 'U' shaped.
Obviously a bad loser...
