Fascinating, but it doesnt indicate (or did I miss it) where it explains what made them dig at that particular site?

I don't think it's in the article but I got the impression that it has been ongoing for a while.

I do love archaeological digs. Always makes me wonder what else is there that is yet to be found and might never be seen.

In London, I believe there is always an archeological excavation whenever an area is cleared prior to putting up a new building - which is what is happening here eventually. There are so many layers of stuff there is always the chance of finding something - this find was just exceptional.

What made me smile was reading that story this morning, then catching this story on the local news tonight.

We have history in Florida too - all the way back to 1918

Once things hit a hundred years old here, they automatically become historical sites and you have to pay to get in.

The realtor that had this house listed for sale came round with a welcome gift today. A couple of days ago our buyers agent also came round with a gift basket. It was very nice of them both, but really no need to do anything like that.

During morning assembly, one of my students, a six year old boy with autism decided to take the stage to accompany the national anthem with an impromptu break dance and some press ups.

I prefer the ones with the cream in as well as the jam.
