Finding my son watching Thomas the Tank Engine on Youtube - but with a Japanese mathcore/metal soundtrack to it.

Keurig offering (without even being asked) to send me a brand new brewer after my 3 year old one died. Despite the fact that the old one is waaaaay out of warranty.

Nice to get well treated by a company once in a while.

From Facebook, courtesy of our very own sugarmooma:

"I think it is just terrible and disgusting how everyone has treated Lance Armstrong, especially after what he achieved, winning 7 Tours de France, competing while on drugs.

When I was on drugs, I couldn't even find my bike!"

Found one of my daughter's old school books from the UK...she was 7 when she wrote it. The kids had to keep a diary during the summer holidays. Some of the comments about the doberman we had made me smile at her innocence.

We played ball...Doby always catches the ball.
We played hide and seek...Doby always find me right away.
Doby always wins the races.

Some of that is excellent and is going to cause me to spend even more time trawling youtube.

Funny how I miss some of that stuff.. Rumbelows pic for instance struck a cord for some reason. I remember getting my Chopper bike too.

Michael Fish line got me.

Friday morning my 2+ year old Kindle died. Called up the support, he went through a few things, he decided it was buggered, informed me that a new was in the post for me. Received it today, better than the previous one. Me happy happy happy.

Got a book out of the library for my daughter. Call me childish if you like but I seemed to recognize a subtle subtext to the storyline...
