Do you ever have problems getting the room type you want when you check in? I never use them as it says something about not being able to specify room types, and as there are 3 of us we need 2 beds.

Enjoy your weekend, is it a social trip or work?

always specify your requirements at bidding page... I have used Priceline for ever (since they started) for cars, hundreds of hotel rooms and airfares. The one problem I had wasn't their fault and when brought to their attention, was rectified.

But you need to remember your cheap price comes with you being flexible.

Its business (mid week) and I use Price Line all the time, never had a problem with room requests they normally ask at the front desk, and if I am travelling alone I just say "what ever is easiest for you as long as it's quiet", PL might say you cannot request a certain room type but when you check in they do ask then, when I had the ex BF travel with me I would call ahead to the specific hotel and make a request I have never been let down yet

What about your escort, do you leave instructions at the desk for him to have his own key?

I've never seen that you can bid on a room type, just on a room. It's hard to be flexible over how many beds you get, we've had roll aways in the past which is ok for 1-2 nights but not for a week.

That's a good idea to call before the visit, never thought of that.

I am not saying it's not possible, but I have never seen the room type option either, but then again I never really bother as its normally just moi

Someone trying to save a £2 parking fee, bet it costs a lot more to get that car sorted.
