What made you smile today? Part III

Scouse is always good for a belly laugh. He raced inside after doing god-knows-what in his workshop all morning, looked at the clock and started spluttering because he'd missed an episode of a show he likes. I should have known better, but I asked which show he meant. 'You know, that murder one. Cheesy Poirot rip-off. People are always getting murdered. It's on an island. That's it! Murder on an Island'

The man should work in TV, in charge of show naming.
Also, after about 20 years of constant murders, why would anyone ever want to live in Midsomer?

I've been on a similar mission, but for longer - Covid lbs plus "husband is good at cooking and has no idea about portion size" lbs. Bad combination, even if food is delicious.

Not an issue in my case.
When I was running marathons I was very light, too light. 50 miles a week will do that to you. I don't do that nonsense any more, nor do I want to weigh anything like that little, but I still like being fit and healthy.

True. I am approx 5ft 2 1/2ins…small framed. My normal weight now is 115lbs (used to be 112 lbs). A few months ago I was just over 130 lbs…an extra 15 lbs is a lot for a small/small boned female. I still have hips/bum/boobies and you can’t see my ribs…I will settle for that.

It’s taken 14 weeks but I have now lost the 15 Covid lbs I gained over the last year or so.

I'm another little one - 5ft 1 (and a tiny bit) - I got down to 114 a year ago (as a younger adult I was 97 to 107lb) but that went up and up over the last year.. and I need to get rid of it again, extra pounds when you are small boned and not tall really shows, I agree!
Be proud of yourself for managing to get down to your 'fighting' weight again
