Not too sure whether this belongs here or in the pissed off thread, but I;ve a hospital date this week, last week I had an endoscopy, so tube down my throat, this week it's the other end being tested.. that's the pissed off part, along with the fact that I can only eat a few things, HOWEVER, these do include Eggs, Ice Cream, Chocolate and cheese, some of my favoiurite things, so not all bad news..

They're definitely not a fun experience, though that list of foods ticks all my boxes, unlike the three litres of yak piss I had to consume ahead of my last two tests.

How on earth are you allowed to eat that lot? When I have Colonoscopies, it's a white bland diet leading to the clear liquids and powders. Talking of which, my next one is only a couple of weeks away...

The Little Lion's group work project at uni - this is an original collaboration from the four of them. Assignment was to design a new engineering library for the uni, and as part of it they had to build a 3D model. Just like the old lego days

It's basically a bland diet, but with white bread, and anything milk related allowed, so yogurt is OK, but not with fruit pieces, clear soup.. OK, but that only, fpr the last day it must be stuff that dissolves in the mouth, or at least turns to liquid, which is where chocolate comes in, but no nuts etc.

Another "did it make me smile or piss me off?" - after getting up at 3am yesterday to go to Melbourne (because the wait list in Sydney is ridiculous) it would seem I have a US visa. I suppose as my husband has already moved there, and my flight is booked, I should smile.

But, oh, that Seattle weather.

eta: And, you know, Trump.

Not yet made it to Seattle, but if it's worse than four seasons in one day, you could always take the weather with you.

If you hurry and get there before August, you will get some nice weather before the winter gray and rain starts.....

My Granddaughter graduated from a Park Ranger Academy, Among the Awards handed out was overall fitness, including restraining and arresting someone, having a black belt in Karate and practicing kickboxing helped.
She won the award beating out 21 men and 4 other women, seeing some of the 6 ft guys I didn't think she would win it, but not completely surprised.
