What made you smile today? Part III

We did a similar thing soaking newspapers in unleaded to start a fire for a film my mate was making years ago. Worked surprisingly well.
Now what wasn't fun, since apart from having a small part, I was mainly assigned to 'sound and lighting' was having to stand there holding a foil plate with a lit firelighter on it to give a 'firelight' lighting effect for the scene. Looking back that probably wasn't very safe to breathe in

I did that when I was 25 and I was a smoker at the time anyway, so I'd already been putting similar kind of shite in my lungs for the previous 9 years.

I'm protected by a layer of lead, built up from years of paint licking.

Why he was there, God only knows...... We got back on the road through he Atlas mountains to Marrakech.... late. He cost me dinner

I'd guess "the boys" would have been into it in a big way up around the border - easy money. I hate to think how much HMRC contributed to "the cause"

That's yer man! Untaxed agricultural diesel, dyed red so as to prevent its misuse - so every townland had a wideboy who knew how to clean it up. Honest!

I wasn't a culchie myself, so the only red stuff we had was the red lead primer my dad used on the our front gate. Great days.
