OK, I admit I have a weird sense off humour , but you try not to smile when you read this !

Yet again this could be pissed off or smile.
So the euphoria of pooping for England has worn off. Turns out the medication, Metformin, did not like me and I ended up being really sick with Lactic Acidosis. If you've never had it then you are lucky, if you have then you will probably not forget how you felt. Apparently runners of marathons often get it but I can guarantee I have not been running anywhere except to the bathroom! I ended up having to be rehydrated and thankfully I now feel better.
And the smile. It was a quick way to drop almost 12lbs.

He's right though - they should have been charged instead of protected by the church. It's not even as if it was a one-off, they've been at it for 10 years! Just on that, is it the case that US police don't have the power to independently charge a person if they know they've committed an offence, does the person/company offended against have to agree to the offender being charged?

On a lighter not all I could think of was Nuns on the Run with the nuns looking like Mel Smith and Rhyss Griff Jones.

I had some wonderful news today that made me smile. I posted a week or so ago about my 36 year old son's health problems over the past month, including having a cerebral infarction (stroke). His latest blood results are fantastic and he's no longer at imminent risk of another stroke. His balance is better too, and he even agreed to use the funky black walking stick I got him. Feeling so much more optimistic!

Now the hard part is to keep him motivated on recovery!

Well done that man. Great news for you. In that sense his youth is on his side - the human body is incredibly resilient and if he does things right from now on and takes care of himself he will be so much better off.
