What made you smile today? Part III

Also made me smile, @OmarNajam's pinned tweet:
*teacher sees students sharing a note*
Teacher: why don’t you read that out loud Student: [reading note] Dear teacher, this is an intervention.
Your methods of discipline via public humiliation are uninspired carbon copies of Hollywood tropes.

No, they never do.
If it's not the EU, it's skiving immigrants; or Bolshie Unions; or sex-rings in suburbia; or footballers wives or Corbyn..... - and when they really get desperate boot-licking articles & photos of royals to distract; anything but print articles about real life.
Don't forget this IS the newspaper that in 1933 published articles praising Hitler and his NSDAP.
Note the name of the 'journalist' - imo that IS fake.

Do NOT challenge the DM ........ it stretches the imagination to think how they come up with so much tosh or populist bear-baiting day after day after day. I can't see the recent change of editor having much effect on that philosophy - because, unfortunately, the DM seems to keep its popularity despite (or perhaps because of) the carp they print.

Funny thing though, in searching for it I found Is this the most tasteless cover in history? (asked by the Mail

I understand ''freedom of speech'' but is it really allowed to print lies ? Don't they have to back up their stories ?
Having said that, I never understood why eggs are sold by 6 or 12

I have a comma problem

Like the US National Enquirer, Canada has a trashy supermarket 'news' magazine.

On that note - I often miss the Weekly World News. At least it was both self-aware and actually entertaining. I know there's a web version, but it's not the same.

Nobody else would tell you where Bat Boy had been last sighted, or give the low-down on Vanna's alien baby.
