Made my first purchase for 2019 - a pocket French journal.
- No more diaries or filofax,
- All shopping via Aldi or Lidl,
- All news via European newspapers & outlets,
- No more BBC,
- No UK products unless unavoidable.

Diaries/filofax - ok.
Aldi/Lidl - sort of... but I'm just roaming/dribbling in my new found range of supermarkets.
News outlets fine, been that way for quite a few years now.
BBC - still need it if only for sanity checks. This is becoming more debatable as we approach cliff-edge.

UK products.. - you've gone Marmite, admit it

So in reality, how's that panning out for you?

Like many others here I didn't get a vote; I have no voice and will be given none; - so short of going back to the UK & squatting in Parliament Sq. like that carpenter did over the war, I'll be left moribund without taking some positive dissension.
One minuscule grunt boycotting everything British is pathetic and meaningless I know, but that's my choice by conviction not by place of birth. Yes I'll miss some things - especially my big Fortnum & Mason Chrissie hamper,

At least I'll be able to say my French ordinals off-pat; - and won't have to listen to that robot May telling me how wonderful it all is.

Think I'll change my strap-line too to suit.

Well it was on Sunday.. but only just got bak to computer. Europe win the Ryder cup. YEAH !!! After all the dire predictions that it would be a USA walkover ,with all their heavy weight top 11 in the world rankings. It was a total whitewash... Did I say YEAH ! What a brilliant three days of golf. What total STARS the team were. What absolutely ginormous crowds cheered team EU. on. with the very impressive Nordic Thunderclap. One person missing. MS May should have been there to see just how united her supposed ununited EU was. An estimated 270,000 EU supporters from all over the continent over the three day event,,clapping as one.
I was enormously proud to be a European .
