Hang on, if it takes him a month to get from Bangkok to the UK, how's he doing it? Motorbike?

Ha! As he used to be a geography teacher it probably takes him a month just to find it!

It's well worth it. I figured, the clippers can be a pain in the arse, cleaning up all the hair and that, and I'm shaving my face anyway so I might as well just take care of my whole head at the same time.

I'd never grow my hair back in again now if you paid me. Too much hassle for something so pointless.

Then, when I moved to London, my nearest barber was a French ex-Para who only used a razor - the first time was a shock, but it was the best haircut ever.... not shaved, not stubble but short and even. Unfortunately, with 5-o'clock shadow, dark glasses and my accent, it did draw some comments in 1980s London - and especially when travelling to North Africa!
Since then I've always tried to keep it the same and actively avoided use of clippers until Sr.Ricardo, but there's no way it equates to a lack of skill on his part. When/if he retires, I might have to think again.....
Well, by the time I was 23, I already had a widow's peak and the beginnings of a bald spot at the back, so going with the clippers just made more sense at that point.

How often do you / do you have to shave your head? I guess each person's different, though.

Ideally every couple of days, but I never go longer than a week. If I remembered, or had time to shave every morning I'd probably shave my head every morning too.

I would go for every couple of days if I could (implicit 'be arsed' ) but as I am bearded most of the time, it doesn't really seem to matter.

Hey, Sultan here's one...

The European Space Agency are enlisting the help of the public in naming their new-ish Mars rover.

They've already discounted things such as 'Rocky McRockface'

My bearded days are behind me, I have come to vastly prefer myself clean-shaven now. I just don't always get around to shaving every day, mostly due to not being arsed I will admit.
