From yesterday but the Japanese fans cleaning trash after their match yesterday was a nice display of sportsmanship at the World Cup.

That whole match was a good one, actually. There were shots of Japan and Colombia supporters next to each other, reacting together over near misses and that, plus I watched the rerun on FS1 and there was a Hispanic commentator that did the whole 'gooooooooooaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllll' thing when a team scored as well, which was cool

Another first for Ireland - a top banker jailed for conspiracy to defraud and false accounting - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-44547000

Not much chance of the UK following suit, alas - bankers are a protected species here

That's a huge one-up for Eire macliam - congrats I say.
The repulsive English Elite won't even admit there was wrongdoing & fraud in the UK, so not only is no-one in gaol, but they're still out there.... washing dirty drugs money for the Mafia & p****** down everyone's backs.
English Justice can indeed be bought.

That and there's a rumour that Liverpool FC have started their summer training camps around Nyon/Lausanne. Spouse of Scouse might be more in the know on that one.

Watching Carpool Karaoke with Paul McCartney and James Corden. DH and I had big smiles on our faces from beginning to end of that. We were kids in the Beatles era, and I don't think you ever grow out of that.

I saw bits - the sight of an aged, withered and greying Macca didn't so much put a smile on my face as remind me that "Whatever time is giving us, it will take everything back!”

Good tunes though

I was a kid during the Beatles era and I consider them to be overrated and just lucky to have been in the right place at the right time. I honestly can't stand Paul McCartney, he makes my skin crawl and his 'music' makes my ears bleed, so yes, you can grow out of that. Not that I ever grew into it in the first place
