Rendezvous at my garage this afternoon. Lead man on the service desk says "What are you doing here?" - he uses "tu" rather than "vous" which causes his 'new' colleague to raise an eyebrow.

Me: "You told me to."
He: "Why?"
Me: "Summer tyres."
He: "But you're moving to Belgium, forget it, it's still winter up there."

I'm going to miss those guys.

Ah..I wondered where you were off to.

Watch out for Salamander.

If you're already a member, forget I said anything. I won't tell, honest.

Just the knowledge alone that that device could be killing multitudes of mosquitoes while sitting out on your patio makes it worth every penny.

Can you get them in a larger size? I know some pretty annoying people.

My thoughts exactly. I am also looking forward to being able to empty out the trap and know that at least those ones will never bite me again!

Leave the pile sitting in a conspicuous location to warn any other would-be biters of the fate they too will suffer.

Reminds me of the bit in Blackadder where Wellington had his 'two crossed dead Frenchmen over a mound of dead Frenchmen motif'.

Not that Frenchmen are annoying - more the symbolism

I enjoyed the first series - not as good as Scandi/Nordic though - but not so much the second one. Rather too many convenient coincidences.

That I live near a techie genius.... Having wept in various places over the sudden death of my iphone last Thursday, with the subsequent loss of all my precious data going back 6 yrs.Imagine my delight after a session with the expert, to retrieve all of it onto my new phone . I had been assured at Vodafone that I hadn't 'A cat in hell's chance 'of getting it back.Old iPhone 4 ..hmmm. Maybe they should check out what they have on their doorstep...One of the two top Apple techies in the world....I feel so HAPPY today
