What made you smile today? Part III

Rendezvous at my garage this afternoon. Lead man on the service desk says "What are you doing here?" - he uses "tu" rather than "vous" which causes his 'new' colleague to raise an eyebrow.
Me: "You told me to."
He: "Why?"
Me: "Summer tyres."
He: "But you're moving to Belgium, forget it, it's still winter up there."

I'm going to miss those guys.

Watch out for Salamander.
If you're already a member, forget I said anything. I won't tell, honest.

Ah..I wondered where you were off to.

Can you get them in a larger size? I know some pretty annoying people.

My thoughts exactly. I am also looking forward to being able to empty out the trap and know that at least those ones will never bite me again!

Leave the pile sitting in a conspicuous location to warn any other would-be biters of the fate they too will suffer.

It all sounds lovely.

That I live near a techie genius.... Having wept in various places over the sudden death of my iphone last Thursday, with the subsequent loss of all my precious data going back 6 yrs.Imagine my delight after a session with the expert, to retrieve all of it onto my new phone . I had been assured at Vodafone that I hadn't 'A cat in hell's chance 'of getting it back.Old iPhone 4 ..hmmm. Maybe they should check out what they have on their doorstep...One of the two top Apple techies in the world....I feel so HAPPY today
