They were lucky to have 14 years.
English Setters are the MOST wonderful dogs
, we had a boy before and he was almost as wonderful, but there was something magical about our "little Girl"

Bless.

I WISH I could say the same about the English Springer Spaniel that was my parent's final dog. HE was psycho-found out after they got him, that the mother was crazy and the father was ugly (disposition) and many times Bruce exhibited a combination of those traits.

Getting a call from hubby to tell me he had made it safely to work this morning & to ask if he had left his glasses on the kitchen table.......no glasses there but a very nicely wrapped gift containing a new digital camera that I had been wanting for ages now.....what a great way to start my day!

Listening to John Shuttleworth on Mark Radcliffe's show (Radio 2 live via the wibbly wobbly web). Hearing a proper Sheffield accent and laughing at a song about sheperd's pie.

I have to disagree with you....all dogs are wonderful...just a few bad owners.

I love dogs. I love my dogs...even though I know one day they are gonna break my heart. I have had 9 dogs over the years....7 of them are in the kennels in the sky now and 7 times my heart has been broken. They are the most wonderful creatures. God gave them his name backwards.
