Supposed to be very good. Main actor is the ex Dr Who guy - what's his name? David Tennant?
Yeah, that's the chap...sounded interesting so have that in my queue of shows, not seen it yet though.

Also have Thorne's Sleepyhead, 3 part murder drama, based on the books, the "killer" is causing people to have strokes, so they're alive inside their bodies...sounds very twisted.

I haven't seen it yet either.

I have seen the first two episodes of An Idiot Abroad. A real laugh out loud programme devised for Sky1 by Ricky Gervais and his friend.

I finally got UK TV using a VPN.

Single Father - liked it, look forward to more.

Downton Abbey - watched the first one tonight, got my mum over from the UK and it made her happy.

An Idiot Abroad - must watch this. Have met Karl P a few times and yes he is a tad like that in real life.

The Deep - how did they manage to make it that bad? Reminded us of the terribleness that was Triangle that aired about 30 years ago...

Walk On the Wild Side

It's back for a second series....silly, but a lot of fun. Bunch of clips of wildlife shows that have been dubbed...the little one loves it especially

The Taking of Prince Harry

Anyone catch it?

Sounded quite interesting and seems to have caused a bit of controversy....what would happen if Harry Hewitt were taken hostage in Afghanistan?

Thorne

Second series has just started, it's a 3 part cop drama...the first was pretty slow, but rather good, quite a cold show though.

Miranda is back for a second series...it's a daft comedy, but kind of fun.

The Accused, has Christopher Eccleston, about regular folks finding themselves in the docks, could be interesting, probably weird.

The Indian Doctor, new comedy set in Wales, in the 60's, a new doctor from India moves to town, it sounds like Vicar of Dibley this, could be fun.

I really liked this...dorky but a lot of fun.

Anyway, "Mincemeat" is a drama about the dead bum the Brits set up to put the Germans off and think we would invade Greece, the Ian Fleming plan.

Worth a watch if you're into history/spy/war stuff.

The Morgana Show

New sketch show, few episodes in and I have to say....it's most definitely a load of utter crap.

The Frankie Boyle show is pretty terrible too. It spends too much time trying to push the limits of what you can get away with, and not enough time trying to actually be funny, which is rather important when making a comedy show.

Totally agree. I was really disappointed in this, won't be d/loading anymore episodes.

This has just "arrived" and I'm looking forward to it. I see in the notes a second series was commissioned but then cancelled after various mental health groups complained about the show!

Just watched it in fact and was going to post here to recommend it.

Stephen Mangan is great as Dirk, I liked him in Green Wing (people of my age will remember him as Adrian Mole ...).

I hope there are more in that style
