Is The South Really Backwards?
My fake-liberal friends love gays, black people and foreigners. But they don't like anyone south of New Jersey. Or sandwiched in between the coastal states. They say it's because they are all backward inbred intolerant retards. Or something along those lines. Considering that an awful lot of the people I've met and associated with across central, upstate and western NY perfectly fit the mold of racist, homophobic backward retards I'm concerned that these people that they all inherently dislike must be some kind of super-retards.
Is this true? Or are all people intolerant retards of equal value?

As long as you can purchase Milwaukee Best (insert any cheap ass malt beverage) in a 40 anywhere in the country, everything is equal.

It's funny you should ask...I was reading posts on a charleston forum I joined recently, one of the posters wrote "Although SC is still the most racist State in the Country, we do accept gays/gay marriage with open arms"
Another thing I noticed on this forum, is the amout of mixed race families wanting to know how safe/welcoming the Charleston area will be for them. It just struck me as odd that they would need to ask the question that way, instead of just "New family moving to Charleston, any idea of safest/welcoming (of transplants) areas?" I have never seen the question asked that way on BE?
I'm not liking a lot of the posts I read on that forum, although I guess we should have prepared ourselves for the transplant haters here
