I've never been but I do know the elevation is high. Mountain snow perhaps?

Clear, bright, sunny, cold (55 F) Actually a gorgeous fall morning. As I look out of my window, there are red cardinals out feeding on my bird feeder.

I wasn't too keen on coming at first, after experiencing other Middle Eastern countries but was pleasantly surprised when i got here, the Iranians are very friendly, Tehran is populated by a mix of people, lots of Armeniens and Azerbajani's, its a good place to work, it gets more middle eastern the further south you travel, I try to avoid it if possible, but the north of Iran, especially the Caspian Sea area and to the west of Tehran is a beautiful place.

Traffic is a huge problem, driving is as dangerous here as anywhere i have ever been, including Saudi and Indonesia, and the food is a little bland when you eventually tire of Kebabs, but overall, its fine, and it feels very safe, contrary to what you would expect.
