Temp according to car thermometer was 104 and that doesn't figure for the heat index.

I felt sooooooooooooooooo guilty kicking the neighbor's dog out of our house when I left for work. Put out a bowl of ice cubes in the shade for her. Turned on ceiling fan AND box fan in the computer room for our dog (we keep him there during the day while we're at work). Meanwhile the cats were just chilling out lying on the tile floor in the kitchen.

Last night or early this morning we actually got down to 70F/21C. The past couple of nights it didnt drop much below 30C and with 40% humidity too that would have made for two sleepless nights so the air con just had to keep pumping all night.

We broke a record here in Savannah yesterday, which was supposed to be the hottest day this week. However today, it was already 82 at 730 this morning so I know it's going to climb right up there again today. When I left work yesterday it was 106,
