You are all far more intellectual than I am. I used to just enjoy looking at him.

But would you have killed for him as I would have done for Isabelle Adjani once upon a time? Is there such a thing as an Homme Fatale?

'Boycie' is no more. John Challis of Only Fools & Horses fame dies aged 79. Sad news indeed. He was very well loved both on and off screen.

What a great deal of pleasure he's given us over the years with Del Boy and his gang!
As for that laugh........

Talking of re-watch, I've just found this which portrays not only more glimpses of Boycie but also the rest of his dysfunctional friends. Hope that this brightens up the start of everyone's week.

I stopped watching the series regularly after Compo departed and then completely after Cleggy left, because it felt like an idea on life-support.

However, it seems that Robert Fyfe's wife, Diana, also died recently - so perhaps it was a blessed relief.

RIP

His on screen wife and his on screen girlfriend also both passed away in the last 2 years.

I also lost interest after the original actors either quit or passed away. The original companionship of the three old guys was all the show needed when it started. Of course Nora Batty was a necessity with her wrinkled stockings
