The Presidental "Debates"
#1

The first debate is supposed to be about domestic policy.
What do you hope to see?
What do you expect to see?
I would like to see this question posed, "The government's present income only pays for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and Debt Service, the rest of the money they spend is borrowed. What will you do about it?

I would have them disclose their intentions for any Supreme Court nominations.

#3

I'd like an answer to the question about what they are going to about an intransigent Congress.

The Wednesday debate is at DU, about a mile from my work. They're closing down a six mile stretch of I-25, as well as large chunks of University from 5pm to 10pm. It's going to be chaos.
I expect to cycle that day.
Also, going to see the GOP candidate and his magic underwear tonight at Wings Over the Rockies museum. My friend is the site manager and he got us front row seats. I don't give a monkey's hoot for Romney, but I want to see all the logistical stuff/Secret Service etc.

It should be good. The further down Mitt is in the polls, the more interesting it'll be

I've had so many bloody calls on my cell phone from the Obama people.
None from Romney to date.

I'm just looking forward to Mittens making a huge gaff. Statesman he's not.

Dogs on my car roof and whiskers on kittens
Tax free deductions and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Cream coloured mormons and crisp dollar doodles
Doorbells and Stock bells and schnitzel with noodles
Rich folk that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things
WASP girls in dresses with blue satin sashes
Coke powder that stays on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt in Palm springs
These are a few of my favorite things
When the tax bites
When the Feds sting
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad
