I was talking to a neighbour yesterday who admitted that he had "stocked up" with three giant packs of toilet paper (for him and his wife, who live alone!!!!) when he was in Costco, and went on to explain that he had done so because many other people in the store at the time were doing so. .... Maybe I should repost this in the WTF thread?

Mum grew up during the Blitz in Sheffield. She was taught to always keep a good stock of essentials including canned/dried food. She taught me that too.

Also, people are buying up bog roll but there's plenty of soap so you know there are legions of people wiping their arses and not washing their hands too. Isn't it lovely?

Australians are apparently cleaner than Americans. Our shops have no look paper, soap, wipes, cleaning products, adult nappies etc. I still wonder why everyone needs to be told how to wash their hands though.
