I was actually just taking the pi$$ a bit as had never seen the chocolate thing spelt like that - I'd only ever seen it as ganache, though if you google it, it comes up both ways. If you plug ganash into dictionary.com it suggests ganache as the word. Maybe the "che" is the original, and the "ash" is an Americanization?

All rather serious for this thread....
