Thought you said that. Why should you when renting's so cheap?

We're undecided really. We've always owned our house and owning would certainly mean we have a major tie to here for those days when we might feel like ****ing off back to the UK - haven't had any yet but I do expect odd days - maybe ....

But when renting is so cheap and the other costs (rates, etc) are covered by someone else, it seems daft to buy. I think when we get our $100k back, we'll invest the majority in something, not necessarily property.
