Not quite everything...

"Oh, it looks like they sent your request to the wrong department..." for example.

Ongoing medical insurance bollocks stuff.

Between you and Lion, I've quite gone off the French language.

The insurance thing was a blow

2, an endodontist and an assistant. They did them both in an hour, piece of cake.
The initial exam was a half hour long and cost $250, the work itself took an hour and cost $2,620. That's more than I paid for my van.

Root Canals are crazy expensive in Canada. I know someone in BC who went to Mexico for his dental work (needed quite a bit) and even with hotel and airfare, saved a significant amount of money, his BC dentist made a comment about how its some of the best work he has ever seen....ha ha... The Mexico dentist he went to went to dental school in the US and trained in the US, then moved across the border, caters mostly to American's who want lower cost dental work.

My wife's root canal, it was priced so crazy, but in the end the specialist decided not to try and save the tooth so it was taken out by the dentist. But the cost was so great, I don't think we could have managed to get it done to begin with, so it worked out in the end since the specialist decided it couldn't be saved, but problem with losing a tooth is it can make other teeth move, I had 2 molars removed in my life due to lack of funds to pay for root canals, but also couldn't afford bridge or whatever its called, but luckily for me having those 2 molars removed let wisdom teeth come in without issue, had those 2 molars been there, wisdom teeth probably would have needed to be yanked and caused me all sorts of pain.

One dentist wanted to yank them regardless, but eh I said no. As long as they behave which they have for 18 years now, I will allow them to stay.

I got the impression that removal of wisdom teeth in teens was standard practice in the US. The dentist wanted to whip daughter’s out when she was in high school. I still have all 4 of mine.
