That sounds a bit dicey. Are they looking after you properly over there? The least you should be able to expect is some high quality drugs.
Oh dear.

I thought that I'd fallen foul of the "this Thursday" vs "next Thursday" trap, then realised that I'd messed up on the dates of the posts, which I can only put down to an odd side-effect of the latest round of (arguably sub-standard) medication.

I will discuss this on my next visit to the family doctor, which is currently scheduled for Tuesday just gone.

I have a headache now. Or I might have had it yesterday.

A discussion with your doctor sounds like a very good idea, you're being terribly British about it but something's obviously causing you problems and whatever's been prescribed to help isn't working, or another words, your drugs are shite. Fingers crossed that you can get something better sorted on Tuesday, which could possibly be Wednesday here.

It was my already Thursday when Scouse said Thursday or Friday. I knew my Thursday was her Friday...therefore the procedure was next Thursday or Friday...not this Thursday or Friday because it was already her Friday. Of course your Thursday or Friday will be somewhat in the middle of my Thursday or Friday and Scouse’s Thursday or Friday...so you will have to figure that out yourself. Comprende??

The international dateline has a lot to answer for.

It sure does, and so does daylight saving.

The UK put their clocks back an hour yesterday/today, which we probably won't remember when we call Liverpool today/yesterday.

Daylight saving commenced 4 October here.
Western Australia doesn't 'do' daylight saving.
New South Wales is now 3 hours ahead of us, as is Victoria and Tasmania.
South Australia is 2.5 hours ahead.
Queensland is 2 hours ahead.
The Northern Territory is 1.5 hours ahead.

Oh bugger I had forgotten about the UK and Europe turning the clock back...that could throw the timeline of my post out. Maybe I should add Wednesday and Saturday onto Thursday and Friday...just to simplify matters and make it a little clearer.

Gotcha. Makes much more sense than my current doc does.

It will pass.

Or maybe it already has.

Either way, I'm not putting the clocks back tonight, I've had it to the back teeth with 2020, and I'm buggered if I'm giving it another hour.

I usually post (in the Canada part) about the clocks change twice a year because the time difference is...er...different for a week or three and it affects kick off times. But matches are so all over the place at the moment I didn't bother this time.
