Default Best Live Concert/bands??

Related to a similar thread on music currently going on. How about best live concert(s) or bands you ever went to?
Mine are;

1. U2 - Zoo TV tour - so good we went twice, once in LA then in Orange county, CA when they came back a few years later.
2. Pink Floyd - Amazing laser show and music.
3. Moby - This guy just puts on a great live gig and I love his music.
4. 25 Years of Punk Rock Anniversary concert - Really just more nostalgic for me .The first band I ever seen live at 14 years old were on ( The Buzzcocks supported by Joy Division who were pretty unknown at the time and Ian Curtis was still alive), Sex Pistols, Damned etc. It was held in San Bernadino, CA and the heat was unbearable at about 110 degrees F. Still had fun though, and there were a lot of old bastards there (like me) too.

I have seen Phil Collins several times and also when he was with Genesis so he gets my vote. Jean Michel Jarre also put on a real good show @ wembley stadium years ago using all the lasers etc. Fleetwood Mac are also "up there". There are many that I would like to see but its unlikely that it will happen unfortunately (for various reasons) they include Era, Enigma, Mike Oldfield, Simple Minds and Tears for Fears.

Went to see Duran Duran on their last tour in UK, saw them in Manchester and they were awesome (can't believe I just used that word) it was like being 14 all over again, my sister in law actually started to cry hysterically when they came on! John Taylor, well what can I say................

Maryln Manson @ Ali Pali - queued for 2 1/2 in the freezing cold but was well worth it, what a show.

Also seen Joe Satriani and Steve Via - awesome guitarists!

1. The Jam All Mod Cons tour 1978 - first ever gig - went with me mum I was 10 - saw them 8 more times before they split ...
2. The Stone Roses - Manchester International around 1987 when they were still a bit goth and then again at Spike Island in 89/90
3. Altern 8 at the Silver Sands club in Huddersfield - their amp rack caught fire in a club full of pill heads !
4. A Certain Ratio at the Hacienda around 85 - most underated band ever
5, Not Duran Duran ever

Others in not order Sister of Mercy at the Royal Albert Hall, New Order in Blackburn, The Cure at Glastonbury, the Pixes at Glastonbury. The Wonderstuff / Motorhead at Reading Festival blah blah blah

This is why I got a shite 2:2 in humanities ............

1) Metallica (Nowhere Else To Roam Tour)

2) Marilyn Manson (Big Day Out - Milton Keynes Bowl)

3) Marillion (Seasons End Tour, Hammersmith Odeon) - Steve Hogarth is one hell of a vocalist and a great front man.

4) Sepultura (Eindhoven, Holland. Got to meet them and had a drink with Max Cavalera at the Barracuda Bar....awesome )

5) Ben Harper (Big Day Out, Milton Keynes Bowl)

6) Death (London Astoria) - Good to see them before Chuck died.

7) Dumpy's Rusty Nuts (funny as shit at the West End Centre, Aldershot)

8) Sabbat (Marquee Club, London coz an idiot slam dived off of the balcony. Worth the ticket price alone).

9) Nuclear Assault (Hammersmith Odeon, only coz I appeared in the video shot that night )

10) Iron Maiden (Seventh Son Tour, Hammersmith Odeon - Cool gig as they paid homage to the Stone Henge scene from Spinal Tap and Sooty on stage Also met Steve Harris outside afterward).

best ever was INXS about 14 years ago at London Docklands Arena (think thats what it was called, my memory fails me)
um....meatloaf has always been excellent too.
foreigner, supported by the doobey brothers were good too.
whitesnake were pretty average, as were def leppard.
went to the monsters of rock at donnington a couple of times as a teenager, which was pretty awesome - aerosmith and ozzy were the headliners. saw ozzy osborne once during his 'missing presumed stoned' years and he wasnt that good - when he falls over and slurs his words for the umpteenth time you kinda got pissed off cos you spent so much on the ticket!

those were the days...................
