NY Eve 1999 we woke up to the snow half way up the patio doors.

Thank goodness we get much less snow here in Toronto than we did in NJ.

A bit less here. I would say about 18 inches on average.

Hot dry and windy day here. Mr BEVS is hopefully going to mend our main concrete water tank with the stuff I found and bought for this purpose. I cannot do it as mangled me hand a bit. It suffered a bit of quake damage. The tank that is , not my pinkies.

Snowing again.

Plenty to spare, if anyone wants some.

Looks like it is coming our way. . Shame because today has been a lovely warm, sunny day. I say warm because anything above zero is positively balmy this time of year.

We should just ship it to Australia. They could do with some cooling off.

Tell me about it...

We left Bolingbrook, IL at 1pm central, and arrived on the western outskirts of Toledo OH, 240 miles and five and a half hours later. Horrible driving conditions, so decided to stop for the night rather than pressing on to State College, PA. Hoping for better conditions tomorrow.

Yeah we got that today also. It really felt like spring, what with the much longer evening now.

I’ve always wanted to visit Toledo! It’s where that guy in MASH was from. (Cross dressing guy.)

Cool as today, that'd be because we're now under a storm warning Bushfire still burning in places but now under control. 86 houses lost, 11,000 hectares burnt out, many farm and bush animals dead.

We have floods in the north too. Mad bloody place.

Had a Skype session a couple of evenings ago with extended family in Naples, FL, they were anticipating overnight temperatures of 40F

Here in the flatlands, we're embarking on a week of sub-zero C, with a light sprinkling of the white stuff.

We are currently at 10F, with several days of highs in single digit F coming up.

Sigh.
