Sunny and sunny in San Diego, not there to enjoy it though, just rain and a lot of it where I currently reside, although we might get some sun Tuesday if we are lucky.

California needs rain, the PNW does not need rain, where does all the rain go, the PNW of the US and BC in Canada.
After an already record breaking year for these Atmospheric Rivers, 3 more are on their way over the next week, with the first one arriving on Thursday, than another Saturday, and another Tuesday with Southern BC getting the worst of it, something we do not need considering what happened with the last one, more water isn't good right now.

Oh and the freezing level is going to go up as the warmer air filled with moisture comes in, from the weather warning: " Additionally, freezing levels will rise above mountain tops on Thursday. This may worsen recent flooding and impact vulnerable landscapes and infrastructure."

And the SF Bay Area (inland):

I bought a new car in February and I have yet to drive with the windscreen wipers on! It has rained, a few times, but not when I've been driving.

Another bad thing about all these atmospheric rivers is they are warm air which pushes the freezing level up which means less snow in the mountains, snow melt is what keeps the resovoirs nicely filled for summer months.
Rain definitely needed in the South West and West! This is the forecast in Scottsdale, AZ - relentless sunshine and lovely temps!

Cold and wet here, 4c dropping to 3c, frost warnings and possibility of snow in the next week. Snow, in November, in Suffolk
Dark by 16:30, drizzly rain, blustery wind and still an oak-tree full of leaves to come down.....
I HATE winter!!
