I don't have to shovel it so I don't mind it. I don't enjoy driving in snow though.

I don’t have to shovel it now but I still hate it. OK it looks lovely for a nano second...but then it is horrid. I need palm trees, blue sea and 80+ temps.

Snow is only acceptable when it is too warm for it to stick to paved surfaces so it only sticks to grass and trees. And only in December.

80 is way too warm for me though, is there a section of your utopia that stays between 40 and 70 all year?

Sounds like you are like my husband...autumn is his favourite season.

Coastal Southern California. Although there are heatwaves but its not a consistently hot temps, you probably get more 80+ days in IL than coastal So. California does. Northern Coastal California too, probably sticks near that specified temp range most of the year.

Most of the rest of US or Canada will be too hot or too cold though.....;)

Coastal San Diego averages around 25-30 days a year over 80F, and only about 21 days a year on average below 60F.

Note: key word here is Coastal, even 5-7 miles from the coast the temps start to rise pretty quickly.

If I had to shovel snow it would get old pretty quickly though, but I can just sit and watch and not worry about shoveling the stuff. I will say snow was preferable when I was working at the airport, it's nicer to work in snow believe it or not than rain. You don't get soaked to the bone in snow like rain does, and luggage doesn't get soaked by snow either, downside is planes are more likely to end up delayed in snow vs rain.

I'm going up on my roof tomorrow as well, but I'm just taking a broom and sweeping the whole lot off, I might even pick it up and burn it with the driveway rakings...

a nice bloke working on a house across my back lane stood the gate up and secured it with electrical cable. I never saw him but it made fixing the gate very easy today😀
there's a bonfire in my future based on the deadwood I've collected.

I've experienced the coastal difference in California driving from Fresno, where it was 106, to San Francisco, where as soon as we crossed the Oakland Bay Bridge it dropped to a lovely 68. I think anywhere on the Pacific coast would be nice.

I could probably handle up to 80/85 without humidity though, it's the humidity that gets me here.

Shoveling gets old with the first pass. I hate it.

I love rain though, I would gladly exchange every snow day for two days of rain.

Yeah that midwest humidity is something, only be like 80F but felt so miserable compared to 80 in San Diego or 80 here where I live.

Shoveling also not so good for the old ticker in the chest either, every winter there are people who have heart attack shoveling, its a workout, the first time I had to do living in Edmonton, I was not happy camper. If I ever have to remove snow myself again, I am just gonna get a snow blower, seems easier and quicker.

The weather is fine and warm.We still are having to water the plants and pots because we are getting so little rain we need some prolonged rain to fill the reservoirs and to give everything a good soaking.preferable at night.
