Today was a rather warm and toasty day. Tshirt and shorts sorta day. We slobbed.

Is Christobel going to impact you as well on Sunday/Monday?
On and off overnight, 7am Sunday here at the moment and another band is just about to let go for several hours. The county just to our North, Hillsborough (which includes the city of Tampa) has been at various warning levels all weekend for it's coastal areas, flood watch through 8pm Sunday, high surf advisory through 2pm Mon, rip tide and coastal flood statements are in force until 8pm Mon - I always think that giving coastal warnings for Hillsborough and non of the other coastal counties is strange because their shoreline is entirely within the protected confines of Tampa Bay.

This morning's radar looks like Texas is going to miss the show and the storm center appears as though it'll pass straight over New Orleans.

That sucks for NO but glad we dodged the bullet this time. It could be a long season!

The sky's going a bit green. Tornado weather, although they hardly ever get this close to Lake Michigan.

Spread lawn treatment front and back yesterday, as rain predicted over the next three days.

Now sunny and the forecast has changed.... no rain.

Good on you for spreading the word JG. For anyone who doesn't know JSmith, he has and continues to face significant barriers but despite that he never gives up. Not everyone is able to donate, but if those who are able to contribute do, they'll be making a huge and positive difference to JSmith and his wife's future.

First frost of the year this morning.

That means 3 to 4 layers of socks and clothing until the sun warms everything up.
