But yes they do actually look amazing and much better than the picture shows..

It is amazing what afew hours wandering around enjoying your surroundings can do .
Do have anole lizards in your area? Little green lizards, sometimes brown depending on species.

When I visited a great grandmother in Newton back in 1996 16 year old me was amused, as I had some at home as pets but I had to pay $5 each for them, and they were just all over her backyard. 2nd time I had been in Newton with the first time being 1983 when I was too young to remember anything.

I love the colors of the NE in fall, so pretty.

We get some limited colors in my area, but nothing like back east, we have too many pine trees here which stay green all year, but patches of forest on mountains and get colorful where some non-pines have found a place to live.

It's definitely a fine line in trying to catch the nice fall colours before the leaves all get blown down in a storm

We do. They sometimes appear on my car hood as I drive away from home. I have to stop and " drop" them off before I get to the highway!

I found a picture I had taken earlier this year of this guy , J!

He was trying to blend in with the bricks so he doesn't look so green!

No relation.
A number of Brits in the local Boston Brits group have visited Commonwealth Soldiers and laid a poppy, across New England. Commonwealth War Graves Commission, lists a number of graves in NE. Many of them are Canadian with a handful of Brits.
