Could be worse.... but 108 is yucky, I feel for you. That is stay inside a/c weather.

+42 there Minus 41 in parts Canada, the planet is quite the place.

Mighty mega stormy rains to match yesterday.

If I could send it to Oz I would.

Damp, but not cold. As much water can fall from the sky as it wants as long as it is in liquid form.

Today was a good day to illustrate the difference between a nice warm jacket and a winter one.

I have my winter jacket; a 3-in-1, but I only wear it with one zipped inside the other. I have another jacket for when it's not "that bad," as I thought today was.

It was 8 below, with the windchill making it feel like -18. For the time I was going to be out, with not much standing around as well as a supermarket shop, I wore the not that bad one. Mistake.

The 50 yard walk from Liquor store to supermarket made me wish for my winter jacket. Not having to remove the one I wore while in the supermarket was no compensation for the wind that went through me.

Everywhere else I was inside until the taxi arrived.

We now have quite a lot of clay runoff which has come from the building site next door into our garden. :-(
I was expecting this to happen even before the storms but the rains came before we got a chance to raise our concerns with the developer.
They have pulled the bank back and to a less sharp angle but to my mind it needs a retaining wall .

A bit of rain, cloudy, not too bad at 7c.

No sun in the forecast for the next week, but subject to chain based on the whim of the planet.

In the final days at least of the days getting shorter, soon they will slowly start to get longer again. 8:11:57 of daytime today, 21st is shortest at 8:11:02 and each day after that until June something or other will be better and better.

Was expecting 5 inches of more snow yesterday. Didn't get near as much, but did get a bit of sloppy, freezing rain to crust things over.
