It's a bit cooler in the mornings now, isn't it. Still no urge to put on a jacket though.

Upper 50s/Low 60s the last couple of days round my way. Cool enough for my daughter to put on a sweater at the bus stop, but perfect for me to have the windows down on the drive in. Feels autumnal at least in the mornings though, and I like that.

More rain on the way this weekend, if the forecast can be believed.

Our weather guru has just mentioned the snowy weather about to hit the North West soon, sounds like you'll be in it before the month is out.

We, on the other hand, had a predicted 90F for today that turned out to be 94F and the highs for the next seven days are a steady 90F, unless the sea breeze drops...

That's still a ways off yet, of course, it hasn't dropped below 50 yet, but the cooler air is starting to come in and I like that. Now if only all the mosquitoes would hurry up and die, that would be nice.

You'd be amazed at the amount of heavy winter clothing sold in the coming months. All those pages on the Daily Mail website won't fill themselves with winter stories of 'Arab playboys supercars London spending Harrods noise clamping'.

Weekend was mostly nice, Friday night a little heavy rain at times. September was a rainy month for many areas of the coast here, not so much in days, but the quantity when it did rain, getting cooler each night, finally able to sleep nicely.

35C (95F). Should hit 40 today, my prediction was wrong. But the good news is, the evenings are now below 30 degrees....granted it's claiming 29 but it's still positive news.

Since the storms two weeks ago nothing but sunshine, the forecast is the same but ca n get a little chill at night. A few days ago we were plagued with mosquitoes and gnats seem,s to of gone now.

Not that oddly when you consider how much standing water is around after the rain this month, and that it's warming up fast today. Little shits need to die off soon though.
