World Series
All I can say is, fantastic :)
Ortiz da man, 3 run homer to start the night off :) Very happy chappy. |
Re: World Series
Fantastic start, 4-0 to end the first inning...who'd have thought :)
|
Re: World Series
I really fought against getting into Baseball but here I am with my red socks on cheering like a mad thing!
What d'you reckon the chances are for another double digit final score for the Sox? |

What d'you reckon the chances are for another double digit final score for the Sox? I just hope the Sox keep it up, with big pappi, who knows, and now Damon is playing well, could be a good thing.... wonder how long wakefield lasts though... Would be awesome to be out there wouldn't it... |
Re: World Series
Arsecakes. A score from the cads. Not sure how I feel about Timmy boy. He can be a bit (pardon the pun) hit and miss.

Thought what the cards did to Kline was a tad rude though... |
Re: World Series
Mr Sibsie just called from some hick town in FL. He was in a bar watching the game with his co-pilots and two chicks were making out at the bar. The owner and a couple of the customers complained and the lesbian police turned up to cart the two chicks off. Bit harsh I thought. Mr Sibsie was so looking forward to dinner and a show. ;)
Just heard on the commentary that Bank of America are paying $10k per home run. |

Re: World Series
Damon doing good again, another run, though that first hit...almost a grandslam...shame it was on the wrong side of the pole...
|
Re: World Series
couple more runs...this could be very good..and still loaded bases...
|
Re: World Series
I'm not liking the look of this. Timmy boys looking tired and shouldn't be giving walks like that. Who's warming up in the bull pen?

pizza face with the broken hand didn't look too pleased about...but ha :D now just have to go through tomorrow with another good result :) |
Re: World Series
Busy day tomorrow. I've got a bar appointment for the Pats, swiftly followed by Mr Sibsie landing and then heading off to another bar for The Sox.
It wasn't the most inspiring game I've won and they've no reason to feel cocky but it was good enough. |

well have fun tomorrow. |
Re: World Series
Does the world end if the Sox win it all?. lol
I'd personally like to see the Cards win it, due to the fact that I am already bored with my Bostonian friend bragging about the Pats. :) |

Re: World Series
Right, getting ready for tonights installment....anyone else watching?
|
Re: World Series
Sweet, 6-2 win, brings a clean 2-0 series lead... :D

Re: World Series
Lets see how Pedro likes a little chin music tuesday when he has to bat. It will be interesting to see how the Sox play National league ball without the DH. I'm asuming that Ortiz will play at first for the three games in St Louis?. Of course Francona was a NL manager, so he should know what he's doing.

I'd like to see a clean sweep and perhaps with a few less errors from the Sox, they could just do it. |

Re: World Series
Hi-Def is hugely fantastic. Without it I find the pics over here a bit grainy. My only gripe is that not all the channels have it, so when you watch a show in normal it looks total pants.
Great throw by Ortiz earlier. Other than that, not a hugely exciting game. |

Re: World Series
Dull game but great result. They really should do "Man of the Match" over here. Martinez would get it for today's game.

Re: World Series
Sweet, they won again 4-1 :)
