Spain, Brazil, lots of upsets going on in this WC....I love it.

Now, given I am a Spurs fan, I am predisposed to deluded, hopeless bursts of optimism, so I am going to say England will do it tonight, 2-1, and qualify from the group.

COME ON ENGLAND!!

COME ON ENGALND!!
I on the other hand as a City fan (who also goes to many England games!) am predisposed to depression, melancholy, frustration and paranoia; therefore, I am going to say England will be 2-0 up with 3 minutes to go and lose 3-2

C'MON ENGLAND!

That sounds like a very Spursy thing to do

Even more baffling was bringing on Torres for Costa. Here's an idea Vicente, why not play with two strikers as you're 2-0 down and heading out, why not try and score a few goals?

It's not by any means out of the realm of possibility. I thought England played well against Italy, despite the result and this is obviously an out-of-form Uruguay so I think you might be pretty close with your 2-1 prediction.

ALL of del Bosque's substitutions were baffling- why change 'like for like' when you're 0-2 down and heading out of the World Cup? Why not withdraw Jordi Alba (who was havin' a 'mare) and throw on Fabregas or another attacking player and go for it??! Baffling, and a sign that it's time for a change both in management & playing staff.

No reason why this 'new' England can't beat an indifferent Uruguay team, though you'd imagine the vast majority of support in the stadium will be for the South American side. If they don't do it, there will be plenty of regret for England, as this is as good a chance to make progress as you could hope for, two very winnable games left....

Half time now, I'm going to watch some paint dry to relieve the boredom.

This low expectation thing works great. Happy at a lose on Saturday, and maybe they can pull it out of the bag today.

England to win this! Full of confidence!! I can't believe Suarez is anywhere near match fit! Providing we keep seeing these positive England performances, I fancy us to progress from the group (and past the last 16!).

SCUD!!

Seems Suarez wasn't quite as 'unfit' as the press had you all believe, and Stevie G clearly hasn't realised that the Premier League season has finished and he's NOT supposed to be passing to Suarez now...
