I think you're mistaking Spain for a team who want to score more than 1 goal. They'll bore us to death for the 1-0.

I thought about that, but I think Robben is going to get an early goal for the Dutch, so Spain are forced to score 2.

Well Mexico got off to a unlucky start

And yeah, I know Cameroon are pants these days, but still like to see the underdog do well.

Well how else is Blatter meant to convince everyone to embrace overwhelming technology? I bet the Croats have never been so in favour of it.

Spoiler:
I will be trying to sleep as England are complete horse's do da at the moment and I am not staying up for that
I will not be the only English person in a house full of Italians like 2 years ago when they knocked us out.
When I said 1.30am I was being optimistic that the whole shebang would finish in 90 minutes and not be drawn out by Italians fake rolling around on the ground with even more fake injuries.

Don't be daft Lorna, this match is going to be excellent. Having allegiances to both England and Italy, it's a win/win for me, I still can't decide who I want to win so either way I'll be happy. Well worth staying up past my bedtime for.

And what a joy to see Cannavaro doing some punditry on ITV's coverage, a welcome antidote to Adrian Chiles and his idiocy.

Alarms set. 0200 kick off time here. Trying to take a tactical snooze but no success yet. Tomorrow is going to be long, especially if we lose.
