Will win: Brazil

Want to win: England

England lose twice and get a draw against Cost Rica...one point and out

Dark Horse: Uruguay.

Hmm! best sums up last night. Glad it was the B Team.

Foster did Ok 5/10
Milner poor 3/10
Smalling apallling 2/10
Jones poor 3/10
Shaw average 4/10
Lampard past it 1/10
Ox fast but needs more composure 5/10
Barclay promising 7/10
Wilshire lacking match fitness but Ok 5/10
Rooknee started well but faded 5/10
Lambert solid performnance 6/10

Unless Rooknee bucks up, none of this 11 will be selected to start v Italy. I think Lampard played Henderson into the team last night. Milner a disaster at RB and the 2 CBs had clearly never met each other before kick off let alone played together.....

No worries, we'll be fine. Our fitness regime is clearly second to none...

Thought that was pretty poor from Sterling and Valencia last night. The tackle was a little rash for a friendly, and I understood Valencia's anger what with a week to go before the tournament, but you can't go around grabbing players by the throat either.

Still, wish Valencia would show that amount of passion for Utd...

I agree reckless and out of control tackle could have ended Valencia's world cup but not deliberate methinks -still no excuse and Valencia had to go

And what was the deal having a player that's not even in the world cup squad playing?

Yes, that was a bit odd. I'm all for giving young players a chance, but if they're not going then I'm sure there's other players who needed the run-out.

If Oxlade-Chamberlain is out, who comes in? Cleverly and Carrick are the only two midfielders on the standby list

And Wilshere will inevitably fall over a blade of grass in the first 5 minutes of the opening match and be out for 6 months with his hamstring/groin/achilles/damage to his one and only brain cell*

He'll still win a free kick when he falls over though, he appears to be good at that.

Oh and it appears that Ox has damaged his knee ligaments and will be out for two weeks. How very Arsenal of him.
