I've been having the footie up on a monitor, Wimbledon on the other and the other footie match on the tablet, those sopcast/ace stream's work pretty well on Android...it's been killing the bandwidth though

Carry on kidding yourselves. The players are there, they dont get a chance to develop under the Premier leagues financially foreign system.

The Bundesliga is "arguably" the best league in the world.

I guess those in England wont wake up until the US and Aus National teams persistently perform better.... Then it will be "What Happened"

First step... remove all foreign ownership.

So where will the Germans finish this year.... Quarters, Semis or knocked out by the eventual winners in a game better than the final.

The Americans are waking up to Football.... 12 years and thats where the money will be.

ESPN’s broadcast of the United States’ 2-2 tie against Portugal averaged 18.22 million viewers on Sunday night, making it the most-viewed soccer match ever involving a United States team. The broadcast topped the previous high of 17.976 million viewers for the 1999 Women’s World Cup final (won by the U.S. over China) on ABC.

Chicago, yesterday for the Portugal game....

It was only a matter of time, it's clear he has a real problem and really can't control himself on the pitch.

And massive congratulations to Greece, good to see some European underdogs doing well. Wonder if they can pull off a Euro 2004?

Easily done. FIFA just give Liverpool 50m quid to shut up. Give a dentist a bit of cash to remove the teeth and make him coach under-privileged kids in Angola.

Whilst I do agree he needs a lengthy ban, I also genuinely think there must be some sort of issues that explain his erratic behaviour.

Just read a very interesting article, Portrait of a serial winner - Luis Suarez is soccer's most beautiful player

What did the kids of Angola ever do to you?

I just can't believe he won't get a massive worldwide ban - But I don't know if any FIFA ban would cover UEFA or the FA. Such an incredible talent, such a total penis. He may have issues, but if he did that in the street they'd lock him up. Even the perennial victims can't defend him now.

I think the ban (a really, really long one) should be implemented at the start of next season. Maybe seconds after a cheque, drawn on a Spanish account, for 80 million pounds has cleared.

Methinks that Liverpool fans may just have got their greatest wish (that the Vampire remain at Anfield next season)...even Barca & Real Madrid will steer well clear of the controversy that surrounds Suarez- there are a few equally talented players who do not come with the same 'baggage' as Suarez.

Personally, I would like to think that someone has stuck a toe up Ed Woodward's arse and awakened him to the fact that James Rodriguez of Colombia is THE player United should be breaking the bank to get their claws on ASAP...give Monaco whatever they want for him! (Of course, we now know that Ed hasn't a clue what he's doing, so that won't be happening... )

Apparently the max is 24 matches / 2yrs. FIFA can apply to all competitions but rarely do / have / would.
