Wow. And he wonders why the English media hate him?

It looks that way. I just don't understand it, by moaning about the press and gloating about beating England he was putting himself in a position to get a transfer, then he bites someone again, surely that will put any potential bidders off?

Yup. Pretty much. Anderson should have let it smack him in the face.

England were utter gash today, then? Glad I didn't tape the game in the end.

This WC is proving to be very disappointing, first England and now Italy.

I blame Uruguay

FIFA will be doing everything they possibly can to downplay the latest Suarez bite incident........... I haven't seen a footballer more deserving of a jail sentence since Duncan Ferguson used to play......

.....England ended up with 2 more goals but the same number of points that I predicted in this World Cup...... if the 34% of English players in Premier League doesn't increase substantially I'm afraid International tournaments in the future will be turgid affairs for England........

.......... however, we will still be able to claim we have the best League in world football and actually that might be the better choice rather than these UEFA and FIFA show piece events.....

The World Cup is a time for great players to become legends. Suarez has made his name in the last two world cups for unsavory actions. He could have become a legend around the world with his play, now FIFA might not even let him play in the knock-outs. Although I wonder how it is viewed outside of England and the Netherlands as we are as aware of his teeth as of his feet.

I don't agree with this, if English players were good enough they'd be picked up by clubs in other countries but they're not. I honestly think we're just lazier than the foreigners, just look at some of the best players in the world, they've come from some really rough areas where their options making it as a footballer or working in a sweat shop. In England the choices are playing football or getting Shaz up the duff and claiming benefits all your life. I think it's clear that to win the World Cup we need less benefits and more sweat shops in England.

If it takes a military junta to rule with an iron fist...then it is a price worth paying, if we get a world cup out of it.

Or we could go the old Andres Escobar route and start shooting players that don't perform. Colombia seems to be doing alright now.
