Kane is supplied by many people but one of the biggest suppliers of goals for him is Alli. It's a total no brainer to structure an attack around the two biggest threats we have.

There's none whatsoever and the formation to work to play him in behind Kane.
Back half should be fine, they'll have the ball for about 80 minutes against Panama, going Cahill to Walker, Walker to Cahill, Cahill to Jones, Jones to Cahill.

It's the England way.
Jones falls over, ball to De Bruyne... 4-0

yes most likely

anyway if Sane is not in the best 23 Germans and we include Jones and argue over whether Lingard is better than Alli then we are toast.

I agree, its a pretty uninspiring English line up..... other than Sterling who'll be most likely be out each night being a gangsta I bet the rest of them will be in bed for 8pm each night. No characters.

Yup, pretty much.

Although if Sane played for a big club he might have made the cut.

Brilliant! I'd give you karma but I don't know how on the new format!

Got a funny feeling Sane has always been shit in internationals. So.....makes sense not to pick him. A bit like picking Klose regardless of age means you'll get world cup goals.

I think it may be an attitude issue bit of a big time charlie so hope he learns the lesson.

I can't help thinking Alli might benefit from the same???

Alli needs a ****ing slap and to wise up....but it doesn't stop me thinking the team should be built around him and Kane.

That iconic 1966 photo of Moore and Charlton...fast forward to 2018. Kane and Ali hoisted aloft in Russia with the World Cup. What a time to be English. The absolute state of those two being the poster boys for the next 50 years.

I think this tournament is pivotal in his career.

He'll establish himself as the future of England or be another busted flush.

He has to play though. We're there to win games not build character or play mind games with our players. Pick the system that will give us the best results with the players at our disposal.
