Half of me enjoys Gus Goulds comments,he certaintly knows the tactics inside out,but he loves the sound of his own voice, and has tantrums from time to time if a decisision goes the opposite way to his version of it,you will hear him muttering "disgraceful" for 5 mins.
I was at Campbelltown a few years ago for a Tigers-Roosters game which 9 were covering,Gus came down the front of the stand to do a piece to camera, and got his usual warm welcome from the crowd, about 20 seconds into the piece a hotdog flew out of the crowd and got him straight in the head!,needless to say that was the end of Gus s interview!!
The Canetoads love him though!

Well I saw the Storm beat Brisbane today, but have to say the ref was crap. He seemed inconsistent with his decisions....especially high tackles...but worst of all was when he gave Storm a try without consulting the video ref....the replay showed it deffo wasn't a try. And a brawl started during the 2nd half, and i don't think anyone was put on report.

Ref was Sean Hampstead.
