So Liverpool are due to play Roma in Boston, possibly Chelsea and Celtic too at Chicago, New York and/or Toronto.
So close but so far. I can not see the missus saying 'yes' to a friendly on the east(ish) coast.
(mind you, the Boston owners might be re-thinking this, what with recent embarrassing events)

Tax problems not just confined to Rangers, eight EPL clubs being investigared for the same 'tax avoidance'.

Watched this Talk sport Thierry Henry clip thing ahead of the Arsenal - and his last - game in the CL tonight.
http://www.talksport.co.uk/magazine/...-breaking-goal
First up - that 2006 Arsenal team was ridiculously good.
Secondly I laughed like a twat at the end interview when he first - unaware of the irony of what Arsenal would do for the next few years - talked about how it doesn't matter if you can pass and play pretty football if you don't win - it's a waste of time. Then when asked about Arsenal losing the final he says, "I will always have disappointment when it comes to Arsenal."
I still find it weird people can look at a player like him - who has won every single thing there is possible to win in club and international football - and say he wasn't really all that good.

Milan pitch looks disgraceful, relaid from the touchline to the penalty area, if I was a cynic I would think it was done to stop Arsenal attacking down the wings.

Ferguson is definitely mellowing...
"The two clubs, Manchester United and Liverpool, have too much great history and great rivalry. That is what we are going to concentrate on in the future.
"Both sets of supporters should be pleased and delighted that all we are going to talk about is who is going to win the game.
"Sometimes we will lose to Liverpool, sometimes we will win. But one thing you cannot take away is that both of us need each other."

So - was he coming back as a back-up keeper or something then?
